Tungurahua Volcano: A giant full of surprises

Just two weeks ago, on the 14th of July, 2013 the Tungurahua Volcano erupted and gave us an incredible image of the power of nature: a "mushroom" eruption 8.5 kilometers high (about 5.31 miles). Some people were lucky enough to be on an airplane that morning and that allowed them to capture incredible images of the ash mushroom. Other people saw it from Quito.
