Ecuadorian Rainforest: still well preserved to visit

One of my favorite places in the world is the Ecuadorian rainforest, not only because of the amazing landscapes one can see - because it is barely impossible to do so, unless you are on an airplane, or observation tower - but mainly because of the life you can experience all around you.

In the past, I worked as a local interpreter-tour-leader in this part of our country, and every experience I lived was indeed unique, always a learning experience. Depending on the places you visit, you will see more or less of the wildlife, the native people, and preserved nature; basically, that will depend on the amount of time you have available for this activity and, of course, your budget.

Deep near the Coca area you have a good selection of lodges with different prices, and located within different nature reserves or national parks, where with time, patience, and luck, you might be able to see all the elusive animals that dwell in this area. Near Puyo or Tena there are also lodges from where, if you time is limited, you can still get a good feeling of the rainforest. These lodges are more accessible than the ones near Coca or Orellana, and certainly, they are also ideal for family stays.

We will be happy to organize a great adventure or holiday for you. Visit us at: www.surpasstravel.com, specialized in-land tour operator from Ecuador.
